These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the HomeBott website at homebott.org, the HomeBott mobile application, and all related services (collectively, the "Service") operated by HomeBott ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to use HomeBott. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
2. Account Registration
To access certain features of the Service, you may be required to create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
3. Description of Service
HomeBott is an AI-powered home ownership platform that provides:
- Home Repair Estimates: Instant cost estimates for plumbing, electrical, HVAC, roofing, and other home repair services based on information you provide
- Online Booking: Self-service scheduling of home repair and maintenance appointments through our booking calendar
- AI Notifications: Daily personalized alerts and reminders related to your home maintenance needs
- Insurance Claims: Assistance in filing and tracking home insurance claims
- Trash & Recycling: Scheduling and management of waste and recycling services
- Home Health Score: An assessment of your home's overall maintenance condition
4. Subscription Plans & Payments
HomeBott offers the following subscription plans:
- Essentials Plan: $35 per month — Smart home monitoring, daily AI notifications, and 10% off repairs and cleaning
- Complete Plan: $95 per month — Full maintenance coverage, priority scheduling, and 15% off repairs and cleaning
- Premium Plan: $135 per month — Fully automated home management, priority response, dedicated HomeBott agent, and 20% off repairs and cleaning
All subscription fees are billed monthly and are non-refundable except as required by applicable law. We reserve the right to change our pricing with 30 days' advance notice. You may cancel your subscription at any time, and your access will continue through the end of your current billing period.
5. Estimates & Pricing
Cost estimates provided through the Service are based on the information you supply and are intended as approximations only. Final pricing may vary based on actual conditions discovered during the service visit. HomeBott does not guarantee that final costs will match the initial estimate. By booking an appointment, you acknowledge that the estimate is not a binding quote unless expressly stated otherwise.
6. Contractor Services
HomeBott connects homeowners with independent, vetted contractors to perform home repair and maintenance services. Contractors are independent service providers and are not employees, agents, or representatives of HomeBott. While we screen and vet contractors, HomeBott does not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of any contractor's work. Any disputes arising from contractor services should be resolved directly between you and the contractor, though HomeBott will assist in facilitating resolution where possible.
7. SMS & Text Message Terms
By providing your mobile phone number and clicking "Subscribe" or otherwise opting in through our website at homebott.org, mobile app, or booking system, you expressly consent to receive recurring automated marketing and informational text messages from HomeBott to the mobile number you provided. These messages may include:
- Daily home maintenance tips and seasonal alerts (approximately 1 message per day)
- Promotional offers, discounts, and new feature announcements
- Booking confirmations and appointment reminders
- On-the-way notifications when a contractor is en route
- Service updates and important account notices
Message Frequency: Approximately 1 message per day for subscribers to HomeBott Alerts. Additional transactional messages (booking confirmations, appointment reminders) may be sent as needed based on your service activity.
Message and Data Rates: Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan. HomeBott is not responsible for any charges imposed by your carrier.
Opt-Out: You can opt out of receiving text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message from HomeBott. You will receive a one-time confirmation that you have been unsubscribed. After opting out, you will no longer receive marketing text messages from HomeBott. You may continue to receive transactional messages related to active service bookings.
Opt Back In: You may re-subscribe at any time by replying START to any HomeBott message or by re-entering your phone number on our website.

Consent: Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services from HomeBott. You may use all HomeBott services without subscribing to text messages.
Privacy: Your phone number and opt-in consent data will not be shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your personal information.
Carrier Disclaimer: Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Service is available on most major US mobile carriers including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, and others.
8. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation
- Provide false, misleading, or inaccurate information when using the Service
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers or networks connected to the Service
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or any systems or networks connected to the Service
- Use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm another person or entity
- Reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, or exploit any portion of the Service without our express written permission
9. Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content, features, functionality, and design are owned by HomeBott and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. The HomeBott name, logo, mascot, and all related marks are trademarks of HomeBott. You may not use our trademarks without our prior written consent.
10. User Content
When you submit content through the Service (including photos, descriptions, and other information), you grant HomeBott a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, and process that content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service. You retain ownership of all content you submit and can request its deletion at any time.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, HomeBott and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to HomeBott in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. HomeBott does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any estimates, recommendations, or information provided through the Service will be accurate or reliable.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless HomeBott and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another party.
14. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. All provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.
15. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Rockingham County, North Carolina.
16. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice before the new terms take effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion. By continuing to use the Service after any revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Terms.
17. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable or invalid, such provision will be changed and interpreted to accomplish the objectives of such provision to the greatest extent possible under applicable law, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
18. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and HomeBott regarding your use of the Service, and supersede any prior agreements between you and HomeBott relating to your use of the Service.
